Marco Americo Lucchesi, the new president of the National Library Foundation in Brazil, aims to make the institution more transparent and accessible. Fluent in 22 languages, including Persian, Latin, Arabic, and Russian, Lucchesi plans to incorporate a sensitive perspective to colonial literature, expand storage space, and increase access to digitized documents.
